Living Room Re-Decorate Phase 1 and 2 and Possibly 3

A few weeks ago my living room really started bothering me. I felt like we had too much furniture and everything was too dark. So I am in the process of fixing it up to my liking!
Phases 1 and 2 (I think) were to exchange the bedroom and living room pictures and de-clutter the book shelves.

Phase 3 was to cutefy the couch pillows. Here's what I mean.
Before:

Nasty. Dirty. Ugly.

Plus they don't match the pictures.

After:

Super cute. Bright. Cheery.

And they do match the pictures.

Plus I made them with zippers so if they get dirty I can take out the insides and throw them in the washer. (It was not because I'm too lazy to topstich.)

Phase 4 is curtains to match, which I should get to making. Especially since work starts in two days.

Because I'm On Break

Hey all,
I am on Thanksgiving break, which means no work for a whole week! (And by "no work" I mean I don't have to go into work but I do have to spend the entire week running around like a madwoman catching up on work and doing as much wedding stuff as possible.) But I feel like I have time to post, though. I had set a goal to do one post a day... Ok, can I do one post a day except yesterday? So check back tomorrow. There will be pictures.

Outtakes and Bloopers

Kevin and I went out and took engagement pictures today with the help of Jen and PJ. (Thanks again you two. You're fantastic.) I can't show you the good ones yet because I might use one of them for the actual invitations and it would ruin the surprise. But I can show you the ones that I'm not going to use. And it's not because they aren't fabulous ... because they are ... oh, they are.

This is how the day started.
